I've been an avid reader from the age of 3. Starting with the Janet & John books! Nowadays I like to sink my old teeth into a British Murder Thriller. I also love Contemporary Romantic Fiction too. Comedy, Biography, a bit of Romance ( nothing Mills & Boon though) I love reading in the early hours, when it's all quiet. I hate noise when I'm reading. I have a Romanian Rescue Dog who I adopted this year, she is an old lady and has always lived on the streets before coming to live with me. I adore all animals. I giggle a lot, and silly things leave my mouth before I've had time to think
A Family Holiday
Thank you to Harper Collins Uk and Netgalley for allowing me to review this book.I adored the cover, so clean and welcoming and the story really had me gripped too. I had a lump in my throat on numerous occasions, I laughed loudly at certain things too. In all this really was such an enjoyable read which really touched my heart.
Summer at Oyster Bay
@bookouture another #winner, Thank You & @jhaleauthor & @NetGalley for allowing me to review this book that at first reading of the title reminded me of my days watching " Home and Away" but thankfully Donald didn't show up!!This was a loveable romantic book with a hint of humour but enough sand to get into ones flip flops. The characters were loveable and I felt I got to know them well.
This really was a wonderful "pick me up, don't put me down" book.
The Life of a Scilly Sergeant
When I first saw the cover I just knew I had to read this book. Mad man zooming about on small bike, just my cuppa.I really loved the day to day happenings of Colin's day. There are some very funny tales to tell and I laughed out loud.
I realise policing is a very serious matter and Colin seems THE man for the job.
A feel good read

Jade: Fighting to the End: My Autobiography 1981�2009
Whether you loved Jade or not this book is a wonderful read.. Close to my heart too as i too was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer. Jade though made people aware of this awful disease as she battled it and unfortunatly never survived.
